During his keynote yesterday, Larry Ellison did several announcements:
• The Sun – Oracle Exadata V2 – Database Machine
• The My Oracle Support – Oracle Enterprise Manager integration
• Extended Service Level Management feature within OEM GC
• Fusion Applications
Especially the My Oracle Support – OEM integration sounds great to my opinion. Based on the connection between My Oracle Support and OEM, Patch advisories will be uploaded automatically, giving you the ability to install Patch Sets, after checking on and correcting of any possible Patch conflicts.

Yesterday, together with thousands of other Oracle minded I watched a great Aerosmith performance. Unfortunately they played at the same time that Roger Daltrey did his performance. Nevertheless: Great Party!
